Power Star India Private Limited is committed to delivering our FMCG products safely, on time, and in excellent condition — whether you are ordering from within India or internationally. This Shipping & Delivery Policy details our procedures, timelines, costs, and responsibilities.

2. DOMESTIC SHIPPING (WITHIN INDIA)

2.1 DELIVERY ZONES & TIMELINES

  • Zone: Zone 1 – Metro | States / Regions: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad | Estimated Delivery Time: 2–4 Business Days
  • Zone: Zone 2 – Tier-1 Cities | States / Regions: Patna, Jaipur, Lucknow, Pune, Surat, Ahmedabad | Estimated Delivery Time: 3–5 Business Days
  • Zone: Zone 3 – Tier-2 Cities | States / Regions: All other state capitals and major towns | Estimated Delivery Time: 5–7 Business Days
  • Zone: Zone 4 – Rural / Remote | States / Regions: Villages, hilly areas, north-east states | Estimated Delivery Time: 7–14 Business Days
  • Zone: Bihar (Headquarters Region) | States / Regions: Sasaram, Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur | Estimated Delivery Time: 1–3 Business Days

2.2 DOMESTIC SHIPPING PARTNERS

  • Primary Logistics: DTDC, Delhivery, Blue Dart, IndiaPost
  • Bulk / Distributor Orders: Our own fleet (within Bihar) or hired truck transport
  • Cold Chain: Tie-up with temperature-controlled logistics providers for perishable SKUs

2.3 DOMESTIC SHIPPING CHARGES

  • Order Value: Below Rs. 500 | Shipping Charge: Rs. 200 flat
  • Order Value: Rs. 500 – Rs. 2,000 | Shipping Charge: Rs. 250 flat
  • Order Value: Rs. 2,001 – Rs. 5,000 | Shipping Charge: Rs. 350 flat
  • Order Value: Above Rs. 5,000 | Shipping Charge: FREE Shipping
  • Order Value: Distributor / Bulk Orders | Shipping Charge: As per negotiated agreement

3. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

3.1 INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY TIMELINES

  • Mode: Air Freight | Regions: SAARC, Middle East, SE Asia | Transit Time: 5–10 Business Days
  • Mode: Sea Freight (FCL) | Regions: Europe, Americas, Africa | Transit Time: 20–45 Business Days
  • Mode: Sea Freight (LCL) | Regions: All regions | Transit Time: 25–50 Business Days
  • Mode: Express Air (DHL/FedEx) | Regions: Worldwide | Transit Time: 3–7 Business Days (premium)

3.2 INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TERMS (INCOTERMS)

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:
  • SMS and Email confirmation with AWB / Tracking Number.
  • Real-time tracking link from our logistics partner.
  • Estimated delivery date updates.
  • Delivery confirmation notification upon successful delivery.

7. FAILED DELIVERY & RE-DELIVERY

  • If a delivery attempt fails due to the recipient being unavailable, the courier will attempt re-delivery up to 3 times.
  • After 3 failed attempts, the package will be returned to our warehouse. Re-shipping charges will apply.
  • For international shipments, customs clearance delays are the buyer’s responsibility.

8. DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS

In the unlikely event of damage or loss:

  • Report damaged deliveries to us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence.
  • For lost shipments, a claim will be initiated with the logistics partner within 21 days of the expected delivery date.
  • Replacement or refund will be processed within 10–15 business days after investigation.
  • NOTE: Power Star India is not liable for delays caused by natural disasters, strikes, customs clearance, or government restrictions.

  • EXW (Ex-Works): Buyer arranges all freight from our factory gate.
  • FOB (Free on Board): Power Star India delivers to Indian port of loading.
  • CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight): We bear cost and insurance to destination port.
  • DAP (Delivered at Place): We deliver to buyer’s named destination.

4. ORDER PROCESSING

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation.
  • Bulk and distributor orders may require 3–5 business days for processing and quality checks.
  • Orders placed on national holidays or Sundays will be processed on the next working day.
  • A shipping confirmation with tracking details will be sent via SMS/Email within 24 hours of dispatch.

5. PACKAGING STANDARDS

  • All products are packed in tamper-evident, food-safe packaging.
  • Fragile or liquid products are double-packed with bubble wrap or foam inserts.
  • Outer carton boxes are clearly labelled with product name, quantity, batch number, manufacturing date, and expiry date.
  • All export packaging meets ISPM-15 standards for wood packaging materials.
