1. INTRODUCTION
Power Star India Private Limited invites qualified individuals and businesses to become authorized sellers and distributors of our FMCG products. This Seller Policy governs the rights, responsibilities, and operating standards for all domestic sellers.
2. TYPES OF SELLERS
- Seller Type: Super Distributor | Description: State-level distribution rights | Investment Level: As per agreement
- Seller Type: Distributor | Description: District-level distribution rights | Investment Level: Rs. 2,00,000+
- Seller Type: Wholesale Dealer | Description: Bulk buyer for resale | Investment Level: Rs. 50,000+
- Seller Type: Retailer | Description: Direct selling to consumers | Investment Level: Rs. 10,000+
- Seller Type: Online Seller | Description: E-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart) | Investment Level: Platform fees
3. ELIGIBILITY TO BECOME A SELLER
- • Valid GST Registration (GSTIN).
- • Permanent business address with storage / warehouse facility.
- • Bank account in the business name for payment processing.
- • KYC documents: Aadhaar, PAN, trade license, and photograph.
- • Agreement to abide by the Power Star India Seller Policy and Seller Code of Conduct.
- NOTE: Applying online does not guarantee approval. All applications are reviewed within 7 business days
4. SELLER REGISTRATION PROCESS
- • Submit online application with KYC documents.
- • Background and credit verification by our team.
- • Virtual or in-person meeting with the regional sales manager.
- • Signing of the official Seller Agreement.
- • Initial stock order placement and payment.
- • Activation as an authorized Power Star India Seller.
5. ORDERING & PAYMENTS
5.1 HOW TO PLACE ORDERS

5.2 PAYMENT METHODS FOR SELLERS
- • NEFT / RTGS / IMPS to Power Star India’s official bank account.
- • UPI Transfer to verified UPI ID.
- • Online Payment: Via www.powerstarindia.com/pay-online
- • Cheque: Accepted for orders above Rs. 50,000 (subject to clearance).
- NOTE: Never make payments to any personal account. Power Star India only collects payments in its official company bank account. Verify bank details at: www.powerstarindia.com/pay-online
5.3 CREDIT POLICY FOR SELLERS
- Seller Type: New Seller (0–6 months) | Credit Available: No credit | Credit Period: Advance only
- Seller Type: Active Seller (6–12 months) | Credit Available: Up to Rs. 25,000 | Credit Period: 7 days
- Seller Type: Established Seller (1+ year) | Credit Available: Up to Rs. 1,00,000 | Credit Period: 15 days
- Seller Type: Super Distributor | Credit Available: Up to Rs. 5,00,000 | Credit Period: 30 days (agreed)
6. PRICING & MARGINS
- • Sellers receive products at the distributor price (DP) or wholesale price (WP) as per their tier.
- • MRP (Maximum Retail Price) is printed on packaging. Selling above MRP is illegal.
- • Sellers are free to offer discounts below MRP to their end customers.
- • Power Star India’s recommended margin ranges from 15% to 40% depending on product category.
7. SELLER OBLIGATIONS
- • Maintain product hygiene and storage as per FSSAI guidelines.
- • Not sell expired, damaged, or tampered products.
- • Prominently display ‘Authorized Power Star India Seller’ signage at point of sale.
- • Not duplicate, replicate, or sub-brand Power Star India products.
- • Not sell counterfeit or unauthorized products alongside our brand.
- • Maintain accurate purchase and sales records and share monthly reports with the area manager.
8. SUPPORT PROVIDED TO SELLERS
- • Promotional materials (banners, posters, standees) provided free of cost.
- • Regular visits by Field Sales Executive / Area Manager.
- • Product training and quality updates.
- • Scheme notifications and offers through WhatsApp/SMS.

9. TERMINATION OF SELLER AGREEMENT
- Power Star India may terminate a seller’s authorization if:
- • The seller violates pricing, branding, or quality norms.
- • Fraudulent or dishonest transactions are discovered.
- • The seller fails to meet minimum purchase targets for 3 consecutive months.
- • A legal, regulatory, or tax compliance issue is identified.
- A 30-day notice will be provided except in cases of fraud, which results in immediate termination.
